We are delighted to announce that we have joined forces with Sterling Corporate Finance, merging operations from October under our Murray Harcourt brand.

Sterling Corporate Finance are a highly experienced firm of corporate financiers and advisors serving clients across the UK, with an excellent reputation in advising private individuals, business owners and management teams on a range of corporate finance transactions including management buy-outs, corporate disposals and acquisitions, and acquiring businesses out of administration.

The integration of Sterling Corporate Finance into Murray Harcourt provides a platform for future growth, significantly strengthening the position of Murray Harcourt within the professional services sector. Sterling Corporate Finance partners Andrew Rose and Lyndsey Shaw, along with director Stuart Jobbins, join Murray Harcourt corporate finance partner Clive Smetham, resulting in a team with in excess of 100 years’ experience helping business owners develop and grow, and realise maximum value for those businesses.

Andrew comments: ‘’We have always had a strong and positive working relationship with Murray Harcourt and have, with interest, watched their growth. So as to better continue and further develop the expertise I, Lyndsey and Stuart offer, we felt that the time was right to join forces with an accountancy practice that was clearly equally ambitious and successful. With this move we feel that we add even more value to our clients across the region, and that the new, enhanced and expanded team has a great platform for future growth’’.

Established in 2012 by partners Richard Bright and Mark Hunter, Murray Harcourt has grown rapidly and continues to attract top local talent to meet its strategic plans. Richard Bright, managing partner of Murray Harcourt explains:

‘’We are increasingly working with our clients to help them plan for the future, in conjunction with more traditional audit, tax and accounting requirements. Developing our corporate finance team is important for us and the experienced Sterling team is a perfect fit. Within the industry they have an excellent reputation for a dynamic, pragmatic and tenacious approach to getting deals done’’.
